A story of continuous modernization
Since the 1990s, we have filled the gaps in the IBM i. It began with BlueNote and BlueSeries - keeping systems monitored and business communication flowing: fax, email, FTP, XML invoicing, and SMS messaging.
When the 2000s demanded modernization, we built the bridge. IceBreak brought web applications and services natively to the IBM i. IceCap transformed green screens into modern user interfaces. No middleware. No replacement projects. In 2009, we opened our own hosting center, so the same team that builds the software could also operate the hardware.
Today, our four trusted products run at hundreds of companies worldwide - and they have taken the next step: reborn as the four high-performance engines powering Sitemule, our complete modernization ecosystem, running natively on IBM i. Our hosting service has taken the same step, reborn as Sitemule Cloud. And nothing our customers rely on goes away: IceBreak, IceCap, BlueSeries, and BlueNote remain separately installed products, fully maintained and supported - exactly as you know them today.

System & Method A/S was founded in 1989 in Denmark. Our software is presented today under Sitemule - a platform that modernizes IBM i and brings a web-centric approach to the business applications running on it. All our software is developed specifically for IBM's midrange platform lineage - AS/400, iSeries, i5, System i, and Power Systems - and the operating systems that have run on it: OS/400, i5/OS, and IBM i.
